Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh

Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh is the Cultural Advisor to the President of the UAE and Chancellor of the United Arab Emirates University. Born in Jerusalem, he pursued his education in both his hometown and the United Kingdom before settling in Abu Dhabi in 1967. His career began in journalism, eventually leading him to serve as Director of Information for Abu Dhabi and later for the UAE’s Ministry of Information. Over the years, he has held several senior positions, including Presidential Advisor, Vice Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Culture and Heritage Authority, Chairman of Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, Assistant Minister at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and State Minister for Cultural Diplomacy.
