Yassin Adnan

Yassin Adnan is a Moroccan writer and journalist. He serves as president of The Marrakech English Book Festival. For more than a decade,  Adnan researched and hosted a weekly cultural TV program, Macharef (Thresholds), on Moroccan TV Channel One. In 2019, he began hosting Bayt Yassin (Yassin’s Home), on Al-Ghad TV Channel based in Cairo. He currently hosts the podcast, Fi l’istichrak (About Orientalism)on Mujtama, a platform based in London. Adnan is the author of many published collections of poetry and short stories. His novel, Hot Maroc, has been published in English and French and is currently being translated into Italian and German.
